OUR STORY Consolidated Minerals creates long term shareholder value through the discovery, development, mining, processing and marketing of the raw materials required to produce high quality ferro-alloys and steel. Privately owned, the company was formed in 2007 following the acquisition of mining operations at Nsuta in Ghana and Woodie Woodie in Western Australia. With its high manganese content and low phosphorous and iron levels, manganese extracted from the Woodie Woodie mine has become a highly sought after commodity. Today, the Consolidated Minerals Group is recognised as one of the top global manganese producers, supplying approximately 20 per cent of China's demand for imported ore, of which Consolidated Minerals Australia contributes approximately half.
