Our mission is to provide best-in-class, patient-specific implants and instrumentation that offer unique advantages over traditional orthopedic implants. We start with a simple idea: make the implant fit the patient rather than forcing the patient to fit the implant. Our implants are individually sized and shaped to fit to each patient's unique anatomy, providing precise anatomic fit and preserving healthy tissue. Our disposable, patient-specific cutting and placement guides also eliminate many of the tools required for traditional orthopedic surgery and simplify surgical technique. By combining our personalized implants with our unique instrumentation, a surgeon is able to provide a custom solution that preserves more of a patient's joint and minimizes surgical trauma. Our CompanyConforMIS, Inc. is a privately held medical device company based in Massachusetts. It was founded in 2004 to provide dramatic advancements in patient care by utilizing imaging technology to create personalized, patient-specific implants and instrumentation.
