BL Harbert International, LLC began construction operations in 2000 under the leadership of Billy Harbert, Jr., carrying on a family tradition in the construction industry dating back to the 1940s. We are proud to be one of the construction industry's very few family-owned companies with a worldwide portfolio of successfully completed projects. BL Harbert has two main operating groups, International and U. S. The U. S. Group is further divided into the following divisions: civil, commercial, healthcare and federal. The U. S. and International groups undertake preconstruction, general construction, construction management, and design-build services for both the private and public sectors. BL Harbert is ranked as one of the top contractors in the United States. Currently, we are ranked 67th in the country according to ENR Magazine. BL Harbert is also ranked as the 20th ranked green contractor in the country. Over the past few years, BL Harbert has completed more than $3.1 Billion in green construction. BL Harbert also has extensive experience in design-build projects and is currently the 24th ranked design-builder in the country.
